To preserve our Beeswax finish, we recommend occasionally recoating your products with maintenance wax.
Beeswax is our most authentic finish for steel. After forging, these products are dipped into hot beeswax which allows them to retain their original colours ranging from blue to deep ochre. All our Beeswax ironmongery offers a subtle matt richness and is a more natural, and far softer, alternative to a black powder coated finish. These products offer excellent internal protection when properly maintained.
The maintenance wax will restore and afford protection.
